The bush walk

One sunny morning there were a group of kids from a school going on a bush walk all of the kids were excited. Tim had black hair a red jacket. He weared a bright yellow and blue bag. Zoe had bright yellow hair. She had a pink jacket and a pink and yellow bag. Jim had brown and black hair. He had a blue jacket and a blue and white bag. And last but not least kade. he had blue glasses, black hair, blue and white jacket and blue and black bag. They walked. They saw lots of birds. Behind them there was an ape. He had his arms ready to hit them. Zoe looked behind her ‘Aaaaa’ she said. The ape nearly hit her on the leg but she dogged. Feww she said. The ape tried again. He hit zoe on the arm and the ape ran away. ‘Ow’ said zoe. ‘What are we going to do? Said Tim I know said Jim. he walked up to a bush with big leafs like bafiges. He picked one off and raped it around zoe and zoe said thank you. Your welcome said Tim. So they jumped onto the bus and then went back to school.

Zealandia

Yesterday on the 25th of October 2018 we went to Zealandia in Wellington. We saw lots of birds I have never seen before and bugs and other things. My favourite bird was the kakariki. It has a red head and a green body and some blue on the wings but we did not see that bird.

But there is one there maybe next time i will see that bird. I went on the bus and we left at 10.15 and we got back at 4.30. I had so much fun i wish we could go back again. We did a touch screen activity it was when we had to go up to the Tv and drag the birds to there right spots. I was a bit scared to go up so i did not go up when we were going to leave to go to Zealandia we lined up and most of my friends went in the van i sat with Mrs Matt. On the way back I sat with my friend. I had to hold on to my breath till we got back to school i could not breath it was so hard when we got back to school i got off the bus and went across the road to get to the car then i went home it was so much fun i hope we go again! I liked all the birds I saw.

What we have been learning about

We were learning about the storm by making poems and we picked an animal to describe that animal as the storm.  We also learnt similes, metaphors and personification. 

 Storm

The storm is like a pouncing cat

sneaky and jumpy

It stalks across the land

Its grey like the dark clouds and hisses through the trees

It scratches the windmills and stalks buildings

the field is sparkly and green with tall trees

Ferocious and deadly its hissing and pouncing

It can stalk and climb

Cat alone on the streets

Once upon a time there was a abandoned kitten she was only 4 months old she kept on calling for years for her mum. 2 years have past she was 2 years old now she was scared hungry and cold. She saw a pack of wolves the wolves ran up to her and picked her up that wolf took care of her for a long time she did not fit in with the wolf babies but she did not care she only cared about that she had a mummy. One day when she was 4 years old  they were all sleeping a man saw the cat and got his green back out and scooped the cat into the bag the kitten mewed so loud she woke up the whole pack the wolf that was taking care of her howled but the wolf was to late they drove away with the kitten the wolfs ears went down and went to sleep but the pups did not care about the kitten. The man was giggling but right behind him was the leader of the wolf pack he was running he tryed so hard to get to the car but when the man stopped the cat went flying out the window the wolf cached the kitten and ran back to the pack the wolf howled  the wolf mommy went running to the kitten it took the cat and went back to sleep. But when the man got home he can not see the cat. He yelled NO!! The kitten lived happily ever after The end!

Talofa lava, my name is Nikita and I am a year 5.  I have been to Kapti Island.  I wish I can get a ragdoll cat because they are my favourite type of cat. I live around Otaki and my favourite singers are One Direction, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran. I love my teacher.  My favourite food is popcorn, watermelon, ice cream and honey and banana cake. and i also like pokemon   My favorite movie is My Little Pony the movie.
